What Does This Treatment Include?
Commonly Asked Questions
How long is the session?
This session is 30 minutes long.
Can I sign up for this session right after my C-section?
It is recommended to wait until your first postpartum follow up (around 2-3 weeks usually) prior to your first session with us to remove any stitches/staples and to ensure that the incision is healing properly.
What treatment will be included in the session if I am less than 12 weeks post C-section?
We will focus on massaging around the incision site and targeted mobility work.
Direct scar work that includes cupping, Dolphin neurostim, and cross friction massage cannot begin until at least 12 weeks post C-section as the incision site requires time to close.
Is the Dolphin Neurostim backed by research?
Yes! Research shows that microcurrent therapy can enhance cellular repair by increasing ATP production, improving blood flow, and decreasing inflammation. This combination supports more flexible and functional scar tissue, reducing pain and improving overall mobility in the affected area. Dolphin Neurostim works on C-section scars by delivering precise microcurrent stimulation to targeted points along the skin, which helps release adhesions, reduce scar tissue, and promote tissue healing.
Is Dolphin Neurostim painful?
Dolphin Neurostim treatment is generally painless and well-tolerated. Most people describe it as a mild tingling sensation or light pressure on the skin. The intensity is adjusted to your comfort level, making the treatment both gentle and effective.
Can this treatment be performed at my house?
